J U D G M E N T

The appellant has filed this appeal seeking enhancement of compensation against the Judgment and Award dated 24.02.2016 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal at Bengaluru (SCCH - 8) in MVC No. 4598/2014.

  1. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that another Rs.20,000/- may be enhancement to meet the interest of justice.

  2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent/owner does not object the submission of the learned counsel for the appellant and prays to dispose this matter.

  3. The submission of both the learned counsel is taken on record.

  4. Accordingly, the appeal is allowed in part. The appellant/claimant is entitled for global compensation of Rs.20,000/- which does not carry interest, apart from the compensation awarded by the Tribunal.
