10.3.2023 Present Mr. Ashok Kumar, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr. Rajan Kahol and Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocates General, for the respondent-State.
By way communication dated 25.2.2023, which has been registered as CrMP No. 512 of 2023, learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ghumarwin, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh has prayed for extension of time to conclude trial by another three months. Vide order dated 30.6.2022 passed in CrMP(M) No. 1228 of 2022, this court while permitting the petitioner to withdraw the petition, had directed the learned trial Court to conclude the trial on or before 30.12.2022, however, learned trial Court has not been able to conclude the trial within the stipulated time, as such, prayed for extension of time.
For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. Time to conclude the trial is extended by another three months, enabling to learned court below to do the needful within aforesaid time. No fresh application for extension of time, shall be entertained. Application stands disposed of.
Registry to apprise the learned court below with regard to passing of the instant order, enabling it to do the needful in terms of this order.
