Prayer: This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 24 (1)(a)(ii) of the Civil Procedure Code, to withdraw the HMOP No.163 of 2018 on the file of the Family Court, Sivagangai and transfer the same to the Sub Court, Devakottai.

ORDER

The petitioner and the respondent got married as early as on 04.09.1987. But, as late as in the year 2018, the respondent herein filed HMOP No.163 of 2018 before the Family Court, Sivagangai seeking divorce. The petitioner is based in Karaikudi. She is said to be suffering from kidney ailment. It appears that if the case is tried at Devakottai, it would be better and more convenient for her.

2.Taking note of the said aspect, this Court withdraws HMOP No.163 of 2018 from the file of the Family Court, Sivagangai and transfers the same to Sub Court, Devakottai. Accordingly, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
