The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, seeking a writ of mandamus, forbearing the respondents from performing pooja as Pujari at Arulmighu Desachariar Veeranangai Amman Koil, Azhagiyapandiyapuram, Kanyakumari District except in accordance with law.

  1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent.

  2. After making his submissions, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 18.11.2013 to the respondents 1 to 3 and that may be directed to be considered. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

  3. Considering the said submission, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent No.2 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.11.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner, the respondent No.4 and any other party, which respondent No.2 deems it necessary.

  4. With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD) No.1 of 2014 is closed.
