ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members especially while doing agricultural activities in SR No.166-1 and 166-2 at Tho.Pachudaiyampalayam Village, Namakkal District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the petitioner lodged a complaint to the respondent police seeking police protection. Pursuant to the judgment of Civil Court in O.S.No.28 of 2008 dated 27.04.2016, based on which, petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.117 of 2016.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.117 of 2016 by calling both the parties and take action in accordance with law.
