PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Bank to consider the representation dated 16.09.2016 submitted by the petitioner seeking to initiate action as per the Circular No.HO/PSD/IR(NEGO)/52-1/2010/42 dated 12.08.2010, issued by the UCO Bank with regard to check off to registered trade Unions at zonal levels after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and take appropriate action as per law.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner Association has instructed that they are not interested in conducting the case. Hence, he requested this Court to dismiss this writ petition as having become infructuous.
