O R D E R

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

2. It is represented that vide proceedings of the Commissioner of Agriculture, Chennai dated 29.02.2016, the petitioner has been permitted to retire subject to the proceedings under Rule 9 of the Tamilnadu Pension Rules, 1978. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the light of the said order appropriate directions may be given to the concerned authorities to pay the petitioner, provisional pension, encashment of earned leave and the contribution made by him to the provident fund.

4. In the light of the same, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the concerned authority is directed to disburse the above benefits, as sought for by the petitioner, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The proceedings of the Commissioner of Agriculture, Chennai dated 29.02.2016, is taken on file and placed on record. No costs.
