ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the 86th respondent in Na.Ka.6954/2009/Ma3/dated 25.01.2011 and also order in Na.Ka.544/1991/4 dated 04.02.2011 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents 85 to 88 to cancel the patta issued to the respondents 1 to 83 for free house site patta in S.F.No.277/2.C.1 of Palangarai Village, Avinashi Taluk Measuring 4 acres 25 cents.

  1. When the matter was listed on 21.01.2022, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Therefore, the matter was ordered to be listed on 25.01.2022 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today i.e., on 25.01.2022, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

  2. Therefore, the Writ Petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
