COMMON ORDER

These petitions have been filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.Nos.129 and 130 of 2015 on the file of learned Fast Track Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the materials placed on record.

3.When this Court was about to dismiss these petitions on merits, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission to withdraw these petitions, with liberty to raise all the points before the trial Court and has made an endorsement to that effect.

4.In view of the above, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn to raise all the points before the trial Court. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.

5.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that if the matter is referred to the Mediation Centre, then there are every possibilities of the parties arriving at a settlement and reconcile.

6.Accepting his submission, the learned Fast Track Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District, is directed to refer S.T.C.Nos.129 and 130 of 2015 to the Mediation Centre, attached to his Court and direct the Mediators to complete the mediation process within a period of four weeks from the date of reference so that if the parties could arrive at a settlement, the entire case can be disposed of.
