Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent.

This Court by order dated 11.01.2024 directed the learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurantagam to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.101 of 2020 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurantagam vide letter dated 18.10.2024 requested two months further time to comply with the order of this Court dated 11.01.2024.

Taking into consideration of the above request, three months time is extended to comply with the order of this Court dated 11.01.2024. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Maduranthagam, is directed to complete the Page Nos.1/3
