The Petitioner states that he is the son of the sole legal heir of deceased Ms.Rajam Narayanan. She expired at Mumbai on or about 14th December, 2006. Father of the Petitioner and husband of the deceased mother expired on 31st December, 1980. The deceased was residing in the immovable property more particularly described in paragraph 1 of the Petition.

It is stated that the deceased was a tenant.
It is stated that the death certificate of the father of the Petitioner evidences that both mother and father as well as the Petitioner resides at this residential address. It is stated that the Petitioner is the only son of the deceased. The deceased has not been left any heirs nor she has left any will. The Petitioner has not applied for issuance of probate or letters of administration.

The proclamation has been duly issued. The necessary particulars are disclosed. The relevant statements and declarations are also made on oath. The Petition complies with the requirements stipulated in law.

Hence, the Petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).
