- Office noting shows that the Registry has received a letter dated 17<sup>th</sup> August, 2022 from the learned District Judge - 2 and Additional Sessions Judge, Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur, requesting to allow him reasonable time to mediate and submit a report.
$2.$ Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that mediation has failed, however, no report has been submitted by the Mediator. Accordingly, we direct the learned District Judge $-2$ and Additional Sessions Judge, Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur, to forthwith send a report to this Court as to whether mediation is in progress or has failed.

Registry, to forthwith communicate the order passed today either telephonically/fax/e-mail to the learned District Judge – 2 and Additional Sessions Judge, Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur, so as to enable the learned Judge to submit his report to this Court with respect to the stage of mediation i.e. whether it is in progress or it has failed. A report to be submitted to this Court within one week from today.

In the meantime, learned Counsel for the applicant seeks leave to amend to annex the chargesheet. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out within one week from today and the amended copy be served on the learned Counsel for the respondent.
