Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court may be pleased to pass order or orders or writ more particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings of the Commissioner, Malkajgiri Municipality under the work order No. MKJ/E/219/2001, dated 26.9.2001 as arbitrary, illegal and violative of principles of natural justice, fundamental rights guaranteed to the petitioner under Articles 14 and 19(1) (g) of Constitution of India.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appears for the petitioner. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that due to lapse of time, the subject matter in the writ petition has become infructuous.
