ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondent Nos.1 to 4, and the learned Government Pleader for Home for respondent No.5. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.
Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in disposing of the applications filed by the petitioners on 21.08.2021 for entering the names of the petitioners and other family members in the revenue records in respect of the subject land, the present writ petition is iiled.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue states that if the petitioners make application/ s through on-line in Dharani Portal, the same will be considered and necessary orders will be passed by the authorities concerned, in accordance with law.
Having regard to the above made submission, without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to make on-line application/ s through Dharani Portal seeking to enter lheir names in revenue records in respect of the subject land, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such application/s being liled, the authorities concerned shall pass necessary orders thereon, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks thereof, duly putting all the interested parties, including respondent No.6 on notice.
Since this Court directed the respondent authorities to put respondent No.6 on notice before passing any orders, notice to this respondent in the present writ petition is dispensed with.
The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
