WHEREAS the Petitioner above named through his Advocate SRI P B VIJAY KUMAR presented this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue any writ. order or direction particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the proceedings No.MR-24/12/1993/Adm.1-2, dated 01/02/2020 by the University, and the Proceedings No.226/UAD/Gaz/2020, dated 04.10/11.2020 by the 2nd respondent, ordering recovery of excess payment made from 27.07.1998 to 30/11/2019 amounting to Rs.13,52,911/- issued by the 1st respondent-University and all consequential proceedings as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Art.14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, besides the UGC regulations and by nullifying the same direct the respondents not to recover;

AND WHEREAS the High `Court upon perusing the petition and affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri P B VIJAY KUMAR Advocate for the Petitioner, directed issue of notice to the Respondents herein to show cause as to why this WRIT PETITION should not be admitted.

You viz:

are directed to show cause as to why in the circumstances set out in the petition and the affidavit filed therewith (copy enclosed) this WRIT PETITION should not be admitted.

IA NO: 1 OF 2020:

Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to suspend the proceedings the proceedings No.MR-24/12/1993/Adm.1-2, dated 01.02.2020 by the University, and the Proceedings No.226/UAD/Gaz/2020, dated 04.10/ 11.2020 by the 2<sup>ND</sup> respondent, ordering recovery of excess payment made from 27.07.1998 to 30.11.2019 amounting to Rs.13,52,911/- issued by the 1st respondent-University, pending disposal of the WP No. 19948 of 2020, on the file of the High Court.

THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING ORDER:
