WRIT PETITION No.23926 of 2012

ORDER:(per RSR, J)

This Writ Petition is filed by the respondents in O.A.No.841 of 2012, aggrieved of interim order, dated 15.06.2012 passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad.

By aforesaid order, the Administrative Tribunal made absolute the interim order, dated 15.02.2012 directing the petitioners herein to prepare seniority list by revising the seniority list of Assistant Commercial Tax Officers as per Government Memo No.263/CT.1(2)/2011, dated 29.06.2011 and then effect promotions to the post of Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes.

On 03.08.2012, this Court while admitting the Writ Petition, granted interim suspension of the impugned order, and the said order continued all along.

When the matter is taken up today, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader appearing for the petitioners and also the learned counsel for the

respondents that main O.A. itself is pending consideration before the Administrative Tribunal, and they requested this Court to dispose of the matter by issuing directions to the Tribunal for disposal of O.A.No.841 of 2012.

In view of aforesaid request of the learned counsel, without going into the merits of the case, we deem it appropriate to direct the Tribunal to dispose of O.A.No.841 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible. We make it clear that the interim order passed by this Court on 03.08.2012 shall continue to operate till disposal of O.A. by the Tribunal.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the directions as indicated above. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
