		punishment imposed on the petitioner
		has been modified to stoppage of one
		annual<br>grade<br>increment<br>without
		cumulative effect.
		The<br>learned<br>counsel<br>for<br>the
		petitioner also submitted that the period
		of currency of punishment is also over
		and therefore, the petitioner is entitled
		for consideration for promotion.
