WHEREAS the Petitioner above named through his Advocate M/s T.B.B KRISHNA MOHAN presented this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus, declaring the order i.e., S.P.O.O (CHM-HRD) Rt.No.285, dated: 06-04-2021 issued by the 2<sup>nd</sup> respondent. thereby cancelling my promotion order as Additional Divisional Engineer (ADE), dated: 03-04-2021, as illegal, arbitrary, and against the provisions and consequently set aside the 2<sup>nd</sup> Respondent order i.e., S.P.O.O (CHM-HRD) Rt.No.285, dated: 06-04-2021 and consequently direct the 2<sup>nd</sup> respondent to give promotion to the petitioner as Additional Divisional Engineer (ADE) as per his seniority by including the petitioner name at appropriate place in the Additional Divisional Engineer (ADE) promotion list and consider for promotion to the post of Additional Divisional Engineer (ADE) with all consequential benefits.
AND WHEREAS the High Court upon perusing the petition and affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of M/s T.B.B KRISHNA MOHAN Advocate for the Petitioner, directed issue of notice to the Respondents herein to show cause as to why this WRIT PETITION should not be admitted.
