THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.6462 OF 2018
ORDER:
Heard counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Services for respondents.
-
The petitioner has assailed the order dated 22.02.2018 suspending him pending enquiry on certain allegations levelled against him with respect to certain incidents which took place on 17.02.2018 at Asifabad.
-
Though counsel for the petitioner sought to contend that the petitioner is innocent and has nothing to do with the criminal case against certain third parties, which is referred to in the impugned order, it is not the case of the petitioner that the second respondent had either no jurisdiction to issue it or that the order is mala fide or contrary to law. The truth or otherwise of the allegations levelled against the petitioner has to be established in the departmental enquiry which will be conducted under the Telangana State Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules.
-
Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to initiate and complete the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner in respect of the alleged misconduct, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
-
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
