JUDGMENT:
This contempt case was instituted alleging disobedience to the order dated 14.02.2011 passed by this Court in W.P.No.14482 of 2006. Taking note of the fact that the said order had been confirmed by the Supreme Court on 07.01.2013 and eight weeks time was granted to the respondents to comply with the order, this Court directed the matter to be listed today for reporting compliance. In the event the order was not complied with, the respondents were directed to be present in person. The appearance of the 3 rd respondent, the Secretary of
Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, was dispensed with by order dated 06.03.2013 in view of the ongoing intermediate examinations. Today, the learned counsel representing the learned Government Pleader for Higher Education placed before the Court G.O.Ms.No.15, Higher Education (I.E.II) Department, dated 07.03.2013 reflecting that the Government of Andhra Pradesh, in implementation of the order dated 14.02.2011 passed by this Court in W.P.No.14482 of 2006, permitted the Commissioner of Intermediate Education, A.P., to absorb the petitioner into the grant-in-aid post w.e.f., 03.12.2001, as a special case. This order was subject to the outcome of the review petition filed by the Government against the order dated 07.01.2013 passed by the Supreme Court dismissing the SLP.
