With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage.

  1. Heard Mr.D.Bala Kishan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, Iearned Government Pleader for Finance for respondent Nos.1, 3 and 4, Mr. K. Bala Krishna, learned Standing Counsel for Accountant General, for respondent No.2, learned Government Pleader for Services-l for respondent Nos.5 and 6.

  2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from service on 30.04.2024 and till now, his retirement beneFits were not released by the respondents.

  1. Learned Government Pleader submits that the bills pertaining to the retirement benefits of the petitioner are already processed. However, due to dearth of funds, the amounts could not be released to the petitioner on time. Learned Government Pleader further submits that as per seriatim of the token numbers, amounts will be released to the beneficia ries.

  2. Having regard to the above submissions, this Writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release amount of

Rs.3,95,450/- with Token No.2513947663, dated 15.06.2024, Rs.10,96,835/- with Token No.2513947668, dated 15.06.2024 and Encashment of Earned Leave amount of Rs.10,01,065/- with Token No.2522557130, dated 31.08.2024 and Gratuity amount of Rs.15,56,099/- with token No.2513947646, dated 15.06.2024, GPF final withdrawal amount of Rs.7,71,738/with Token No.2512983678, dated 10.06.2024, pertaining to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
