Appeal under Section 378 (4) of Cr.P.C, praying that in the circumstances stated in the grounds filed in support of the Criminal Appeal, the High Court may be pleased to allow the appeal by setting aside the Judgment dt.08.08.2016 passed in C.C.No. 41 Of 2016 (Old C.C No.34 OF 2016) by the II Special Magistrate, Hastinapuram, RR-District in the interest of justice.

The Appeal coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Public Prosecutor for the Respondent No. 1, the Court made the following.

ORDER:

Due to the non appearance of the learned counsel for the appellant(s) on record, this Court had directed the registry to appoint Mr. Oddi Joel Priyadarshan as amicus curie to argue this matter on behalf of the appellant(s). When the matter was called today unfortunately, there is no representation by him on behalf of the appellant(s).

This matter has been pending from quite a long time. Therefore, registry is directed to appoint Ms. Talat Madiha (Cell No.9347308204) (22826) (TS/2602/2021) as amicus curie to argue this matter on behalf of the appellant(s) in place of Mr. Oddi Joel Priyadarshan. She shall be paid the honorarium as per Regulation 22 of the Telangana State Legal Services Authority Regulations, 2016.
