Heard Mr. N. Ratan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. A. Apang, learned Senior Counsel for the State Election Commission and Mr. I. Riram, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate for the State respondents No.2 and 3.

Respondent No.2 has filed counter-affidavit.

Mr. Riram, learned counsel for the respondents No.2 and 3 submits that the counter-affidavit filed by the respondent No.2 would also cover the stand of the respondent No.3.

Mr. Apang, learned Senior Counsel for the State Election Commission submits that the respondent No.1 would not be filing counter-affidavit. By an order dated 21.06.2022, notice on respondent No.4 in all the writ petitions have been deemed to be served.

In view of the above and having regard to the contention raised by the

petitioner, let Rule be issued.

Since, parties are represented by their respective learned counsels as well as notices have been duly served to all the respondents, no fresh steps is required to be taken.

List the matters for hearing after six weeks.

Interim order passed earlier shall continue till the disposal of writ petitions.
