AB 455/2012 BEFORE THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE UJJAL BHUYAN Heard Mr. J. Sarma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. B. Saikia, learned Addl. P. P, Assam, who shall produce the case diary on 1-3-2 012.

Mr. Sarma, learned counsel submits that the petitioner was not a part of the mob which had burnt down the police traffic island. In this connection he h as referred to the averments made in paragraph 3 of the bail petition.

Considering the above, I am inclined to grant interim bail to the petiti oner pending consideration of the case diary. Accordingly, it is hereby ordered that in the event of arrest of the petitioner, Sri Kaushik Das in connection wi th Geetanagar P.S Case No. 16 of 2012 registered under Section 143/332/341/353/4 36 IPC, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- w ith one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority , subject to the condition that he will appear before the I.O within 10(ten) day s from today and co-operate with the investigation of the case. List this matter again on 1-3-2012.
