Mr. Muzamil Hoque, the appellant-claimant is present along with Mr. A.R. Agarwalla, learned counsel.

Mr. A.K. Barman, Regional-in-Charge, New India Assurance Co. Ltd. along with Ms. H. Haflongbar, Administrative Officer as well as Mrs. C. Norbu, Administrative Officer and Mr. S. Dutta, learned counsel appearing for the said Insurance Company are present.

After negotiated settlement, the parties have agreed for a total quantum of compensation of Rs.31,000/- (Rs. Thirty one thousand only) towards full and final settlement of entire claim of the appellant/claimant.

Accordingly, the New India Assurance Co. Ltd. shall deposit the aforesaid amount in favour of the respondent No.1/ claimant before the Registry of this Court within a period of 45 (forty five) days from today.

On such deposit being made, the Registry shall disburse the said amount in favour of the appellant/claimant on being duly identified by Mr. A.R. Agarwalla, learned counsel for the appellant/claimant.

The matter is settled in Lok-Adalat on conciliation.

The MAC Appeal is disposed of.

LCR be returned back.
