O R D E R % 22.01.2025

1. The matter has been listed today on the directions of the Hon'ble Court to record details regarding service of summons on the defendants and also to record whether the pleadings between the plaintiff and defendants are complete.

2. Initially, there were 51 defendants in the array. Subsequently, 10 of them have been deleted and as on today there are 41 defendants in the array. Amended memo dated 10.01.2024 has been filed in this regard indicating which of the defendants have been deleted. However, it also needs a highlight at this stage that amended memo of parties has not altered the original numbering / array of the defendants so as to avoid confusion. Of the initial 51 defendants, written statement had been filed on behalf of defendant no. 17 Google, defendant no. 18 Telegram and defendant no. 37. These three defendants have since been deleted.

3. Affidavit of compliance had been filed on behalf of

defendant no. 24 Bharti Airtel which also stands deleted from the array.

4. Rights of defendant nos. 44 & 45 to file a written statement have already been closed. Defendant no. 46 was served through email on 26.07.2024. No written statement has been filed on its behalf till date. Since the maximum permissible period to do so has expired, right to file a written statement stands closed for defendant no. 46.

5. Ld. Counsel for the plaintiff submits that he may be permitted to file a composite affidavit of service concerning all the defendants, for the convenience of the Hon'ble Court. Allowed as requested. Affidavit of service be filed within two weeks.

6. Put up again for completion of pleadings on 14.02.2025.
