This application is moved by the applicant for modification of order dated 18.02.2020 whereby though the applicant was granted bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.1.00 Lac with two sureties of like amount, but he is still in custody as he is unable to furnish the bail bond and sureties, hence prays for reduction of the surety amount and the number of sureties.

  2. In the circumstances, while reducing the surety amount from Rs.1.00 Lac with two sureties per order dated 18.02.2020 to Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like amount, the applicant be released from custody on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent/Duty MM. Prior to release from Prison, the applicant shall also deposit the entire fine amount as imposed by the learned Trial Court with the Jail Superintendent. One surety of the like amount shall be furnished by the applicant only after the learned Trial Court/Successor Court

resumes its normal functioning; within a week thereof. The petitioner is also directed to provide his contact number/address to the SHO of police station Vijay Vihar, Delhi as also he shall keep open his location application in his mobile at all time. The other conditions as imposed vide order dated 18.02.2020 shall remain the same.

  1. In above terms, the application stands disposed of.

  2. Copy of this order be sent electronically to the learned Trial Court / Jail Superintendent for compliance.
