• 4 25-08-2023 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties concerned.
  • 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the police has not registered First Information Report on the basis of written report submitted by him, on 16.11.2020, before the Thawe Police Station, Gopalganj and the information, regarding the same, was given to the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj on 26.12.2020.
  • 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the counter affidavit is ready. According to the statement made, therein, no written report submitted by the petitioner has been found in Thawe Police Station, Gopalganj and if the petitioner submits a fresh copy of the written report before the Station House Officer, Thawe Police Station, Gopalganj, action upon the same shall be taken by the concerned police station as per the law.
  • 4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the State, the petitioner is directed to approach the Thawe Police Station, Gopalganj and submit the written report before the Station House Officer within a period of two weeks.
  • 5. If the written report is submitted by the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Thawe Police Station, Gopalganj,

is obliged to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present application is disposed.
