The Court made the following ORDER:

The writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer:-

"....to issue a Writ Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in promoting the 3rd respondent to the post of Post Graduate Teacher Physical science contrary to the recruitment rules of Gurukulam and also the seniority list released by the respondents vide Proc.RC.No.B1/72/2016 dt 20.02.2016 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the eligibility defined in the recruitment rules of Gurukulam and consequently direct the respondents to revert the 3 rd respondent as TGT and promote the petitioner to the post of PGT Physical science subject and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The Writ Petition is filed challenging the inaction of the respondents in promoting the 3rd respondent to the post of Post Graduate Teacher Physical science contrary to the recruitment rules of Gurukulam and also the seniority list released by the respondents vide Proc.RC.No.B1/72/2016 dt 20.02.2016.

3. Apparently, on 04.02.2025, there is no representation for the petitioner. Today also i.e., on 28.03.2025 none appeared for the petitioner.

4. Sri B.Ravi Kumar, learned Standing counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted the proceedings vide Rc.No.B1/72/2016, dated 13.05.2016 issued by the 2nd respondent. The relevant para in the said proceedings dated 13.05.2016, reads as under:

"In view of the above, Sri.R.Venkataramana is hereby considered for promotion to the post of PGT Physical Science w.e.f DPC held on 20.02.2016, instead of G.Govinda Raju on review. Sri G.Govindaraju is hereby considered for promotion on adjustment in the arising vacancy (Zonewise/subject wise) w.e.f 12.05.2016 to avoid further legal complications.

Accordingly, Sri R. Venkataramana, TGT Science is hereby promoted as PGT Physical Science and posted in APTWURJC(G), Kurupam, Vizianagaram District in the existing vacancy."

6. In view of the written instructions dated 13.05.2016 furnished by the learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent, it seems no cause of action survives in the Writ Petition.

7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
