Petition under Section 389 (1) of Crl.P.C, praying that in the circumstances stated in the memorandum of grounds filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to suspend the sentence and enlarge the petitioner on bail in judgment dated 15-09-2023 in S.C.No. 4/2019(old S.C.No. 87/ 2017) on the file of the Court of the Special Judge for Speedy Trial of offences Under Protection of Children from Sexual offences Act, Vijayawada, Pending disposal of CRLA No. 741 of 2023, on the file of the High Court.

The court while directing issue of notice to the Respondents herein to show cause as to why this application should not be complied with, made the following (The receipt of this order will be deemed to be the receipt of notice in the case) ORDER:

"Sentence of imprisonment imposed by the Court below alone is suspended pending disposal of the Criminal Appeal. The petitioner herein shall be enlarged on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge for speedy trial of offences under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Vijayawada."
