WHEREAS the Petitioner has presented under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971, above case through his counsel M/s S.M.Subhan, praying the High Court to punish the respondents herein for disobeying and not complying with the orders passed in W.P.No. 17746 of 2014 and W.P.No.22638 of 2014 dated 06.05.2022;
WHEREAS the said case coming on for hearing on this day and whereas the High Court upon perusing the affidavit field herein and the order of High Court dated 15.09.2023 made herein and upon hearing the arguments of M/s S.M.Subhan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Sri Solomon Raju Manchala, Advocate for Respondent Nos. 2 to 4, made the following ORDER:
"Both the learned counsels are present.
Learned counsel for the respondent(s) seeks time for filing counter.
In the final order dated 06.05.2020, this Court observed as follows:
"In view of the above said circumstances, this Court feels that it is just and proper to award 50% of back wages, while directing the respondents/APSRTC to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service back wages and attendant benefits. The same shall be settled within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Award dated 01.07.2013 passed by the 5<sup>th</sup> respondent in Industrial Dispute No.140 of 2006 is hereby modified."
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent(s) seeks time for filing counters. In view of the same, this Court directs the respondent authorities to comply with the Court's order and file compliance report by the next date of hearing.
Post the matter on 17.11.2023."
