This writ petition was registered before this High Court on the matter in O.A.No.2808 of 2017 being transferred from the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal.

  1. The petition was filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to declare the action of the respondents in not extending the benefit of notional seniority in the cadre of principal on par with the 4 th respondent in view of the orders passed in O.A No.1044/2017 dated 04.08.2017 by the Tribunal as illegal, arbitrary.

  2. On 17.03.2025, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-II represented that as per the order in W.P.No.2184 of 2021 filed by the petitioner herein, the petitioner had been promoted notionally as per proceeding No.C3/306/JD(Peshi)/2019 dated 24.07.2023 of the Director of Employment and Training, A.P., Vijayawada, a copy of which is placed on record. Therefore, she submitted to dispose of the writ petition as no further order is required.

  3. There was no representation for the petitioner on 12.12.2023, 23.01.2025, and 17.03.2025 and today also there is no representation for the petitioner inspite of posting the matter under the caption 'for dismissal'.

  4. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed for default.

There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
