| Standing Counsel submits that since the matters |

are pending before the Hon'ble Apex Court on the same issue arising out of the judgments of the various High Courts, these matters may be deferred for final hearing, pending decision of the Hon'ble Apex Court in those batch of cases pending, in order to save the time of the Court and reduce the burden on the department.
In similar circumstances, the High Court of Bombay in W.P.No.12187 of 2024, dated 10.09.2024, granted interim relief, subject to outcome of the final decision of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the batch of cases, pending before it on the same issue, as the issues are covered with the said batch of cases pending before the Hon'ble Apex Court.
In view of the same, we are also of the opinion that, these matters can be deferred for further hearing till the final decision is expressed by the Hon'ble Apex Court.
Since the interim orders were already granted in all these cases, the same would continue until further orders.
List on 22.04.2025.
If there are any subsequent developments in these matters, the learned counsels are at liberty to mention the same before this Court.
