ORDER:

There is no representation for the petitioner.

The petitioner has challenged the constitution of a trust board for the 4Th respondent-temple under proceedings in Rc.No.B2/15245/2009, dated 17.04.2010 for a period of two years from the date of taking oath of office and secrecy, on the ground that applications were not invited in accordance with the Rules and that respondents 5 to 7 had been recommended by a local public representative.

This Court, by way of interim direction dated 21.04.2010, had granted interim suspension of the said proceedings for a period of eight weeks and the said order continued until further orders.

However, the Executive Officer of the 4th respondent-temple had filed a counter affidavit stating that the said trustees had been administered oath of office on 21.04.2010 itself.

In any event, since the period of two years from 21.04.2010 has been completed on 21.04.2012, nothing survives in the present writ petition. Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
