Petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C, praying that in the circumstances stated in the memorandum of grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner/Accused No.3 and direct the Station House Officer, Chilamathur Police Station, Ananthapur District to release the petitioner on bail in the event of her arrest in Crime No.231 of 2021 of Chilamathur Police Station.

The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and memorandum of grounds of criminal petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri P.V.Venkata Ravi Sankar, Advocate for the Petitioner and Assistant Public Prosecutor for the Respondent, the Court made the following.

This petition is filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short "Cr.P.C.") seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner/A3 in the event of her arrest in connection with Crime No.231 of 2021 of Chilamathur Police Station, Ananthapuramu District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341 and 307 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

$2.$ The case of prosecution is that a report was lodged wherein it was alleged that due to ill feelings between the families of accused and complainant regarding membership in their caste elders society, on 23.05.2021, A1 to A3 picked up quarrel with the complainant's father with an intention to eliminate him, A2 and A3 caught hold him and A1 stabbed him with a knife due to which complainant's father sustained bleeding injuries. Basing on the said report, the present crime is registered wherein petitioner is arrayed as A3.

$3.$ Heard Sri P.V.V.Ravi Sankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are no 4. allegations against the petitioner except stating that she caught $ok$ hold the injured. He submits that already A1 and A2 were enlarged

on bail and investigation is almost completed, as such there $hgn L$ cannot be any apprehension of the Police that the petitioner may tamper with the investigation process. He submits that petitioner is a lady aged about 55 years, as such her case may be considered for grant of pre-arrest bail.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor does not dispute that 5. A1 and A2 were granted bail and he submits that ten witnesses were examined.

Taking into consideration the fact that A1 and A2 were 6. already enlarged on bail as well as the age and health condition of the petitioner and as the only allegation against the petitioner is that she caught hold the injured, this Court deems it appropriate to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.

$7.$ Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed. The petitioner/A3 shall be released on bail in the event of her arrest in connection with Crime No. 231 of 2021 of Chilamathur Police Station, Ananthapuramu District on condition of executing self bond for Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) with two sureties for a likesum each to the satisfaction of the Station House Officer, Chilamathur Police Station, Ananthapur District.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
