The Court made the following JUDGMENT:
Questioning the conviction and sentence imposed by the learned <sup>I</sup> Additional Special Judge for C.B.I. cases, Visakhapatnam, in C.C.No.17/2005 dt. 14.12.2012, the appellant/A.1 filed the present appeal.
- It is represented by Sri V.V.N.Nrasimham, learned counsel for the appellant, that during pendency of the appeal, the sole appellant died on 24.06.2022. He further contends that he has addressed a letter to the legal representatives of the deceased appellant and they informed him that they do not want to prosecute the appeal. He also annexed a letter dt. 17.10.2024 addressed to the learned counsel by son of the appellant stating that they are not interested to prosecute the appeal.
In view of the above statement made by the learned counsel for the appellant, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated. 3.
As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
