At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, no representation on behalf of the appellant.

S.Dushyanth Reddy, learned Additional Public $\mathbf{Sri}$ Prosecutor for the respondent-State submits that the accused died on 23.04.2017 at RIMS Hospital, Kadapa while undergoing treatment as inpatient. In support of the same, he placed on record the instructions received from the Superintendent of Jails (FAC), Central Prison, Kadapa, dated 09.02.2023.

In view of the above, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
