THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHEEKATI MANAVENDRANATH ROY Contempt Case No.2069 of 2022

ORDER:
The order in I.A.No.2 of 2022 in W.P.No.12680 of 2022, dated 27.06.2022, reads as follows:
"There shall be a direction to respondents 4 and 5 police officials not to interfere in the administrative affairs of the Church till the next date of hearing. However, respondents 6 and 7, who are now impleaded, are at liberty to pursue their rights in respect of administrative affairs of the Church."
Thus, as can be seen from the aforesaid order, there is a direction only to the respondents 4 and 5, who are Station House Officer, Narasapur, West Godavari District, and Sub-Inspector of Police, Narasapur Town P.S, West Godavari District, not to interfere in the administrative affairs of the Church. There is no such order or direction to the respondents 1 and 2 herein.
Thus, no contempt case lies against the respondents 1 and 2 herein. Therefore, the Contempt Case cannot be admitted against them.
Resultantly, the Contempt Case is dismissed against the respondents herein. No costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall also stand closed.
