In the circumstances, upon hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGP, having regard to the nature of the proceedings now impugned, suggestive of finality in relation to departmental proceedings sought to be initiated against the petitioner and also with reference to nature of penalty to be imposed, there shall be interim stay of all further proceedings as prayed.
