ORAL COMMMON JUDGMENT

Since these appeals are directed against the same order, viz., order dated 07.09.2020 passed in W.P.No.15823 of 2020 by the learned single Judge, they are heard together and disposed of by this common judgment. The appellants herein are respondent No.6 and respondent No.8 respectively in the said writ petition. They are aggrieved by the

observation made by the learned single Judge in paragraphs 13 and 14 therein.

After hearing learned counsel for the appellants, the counsel respondents/writ petitioners, the Government Pleader for Home and parallely looking to the contents of the F.I.R., we are of the considered opinion that, while disposing of these writ appeals, it may be observed that the direction as issued in paragraphs 13 and 14 of the order dated 07.09.2020 passed in W.P.No.15823 of 2020, may not be treated as directory or mandatory and it is open to the authorities to afford opportunity of hearing to the appellants herein and pass appropriate orders.

With the aforesaid observations and with a further observation that the authorities are at liberty to take recourse as prescribed under law, these writ appeals stand disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, all the pending miscellaneous applications shall stand closed.
