ORDER:
The instant Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short "Cr.P.C.") has been filed, by the Petitioner/Accused, seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crl.M.P.No.249 of 2024 in C.C.No.110 of 2019 on the file of the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Palakonda, Srikakulam District, for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Heard Sri Karukola Simhachalam, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Ms. D.Prasanna Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State/Respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, at the stage of admission, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that without causing any prejudice to the rights and contentions of the Petitioner regarding the original promissory note which has been filed at the fag end of the matter, petition may be disposed of. 3.
Learned Assistant Public would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4.
Considering the submissions made, the Criminal Petition is disposed of without causing any prejudice to the rights and contentions of the Petitioner before the trial Court. 5.
