"Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is that the respondents are trying to dispossess them from the subject matter property, which is in their possession and enjoyment for the last several decades.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are availing electricity service to the subject matter property and the same is assessed to property tax by the Grama Panchayat. While so, the respondents are now trying to dispossess the petitioners from the subject matter property without following due procedure and in high-handed manner. Learned counsel submits that if the petitioners are dispossessed from the subject matter property, they will be deprived of their valuable rights.
Considering the submissions made and perusing the material available on record, there shall be interim direction to the respondents not to dispossess the petitioners from the subject matter property without following due procedure as contemplated under law.
List the matter after three weeks."
