O R D E R:
Petitioner claims to be the owner of an extent of Ac.0.71 cents in Sy.No.570/1B4 of Basinikonda Village, Madanapalle Mandal, Annamayya District.

Petitioner had applied for conversion of land of an extent of Ac.0.40 cents out of Ac.0.71 cents in Sy.No.570/1B4 from agricultural to non-agricultural purpose for establishment of petrol Bunk. The 3rd respondent vide proceedings D.Dis.B2/7768/2011 dated 26.12.2011 had converted the land and effected sub-division as Sy.No.570/1B4A. The petitioner thereafter applied for conversion of balance extent of Ac.0.31 cents out of Ac.0.71 cents from agriculture to non-agriculture and paid conversion amount of Rs.89,100/- @ 9% of the basic value of the land through Challan No.24167 dated 16.02.2016. As the land was kept in prohibited list of properties, the petitioner subsequently filed W.P.No.8006 of 2022 for deletion of the same from the prohibited property list. Pursuant to the orders of this Court, the District Collector, Annamayya District vide proceedings dated 09.12.2022 deleted an extent of Ac.0.31 cents in Sy.No.570/1B4 from the prohibited list of properties. The petitioner had intimated the same to the respondent Nos.3 and 4 on 23.03.2018 through Mee seva application No.NLCR11800006855 for conversion.

Though notice was issued to the respondents, no counter has been filed.

Therefore, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for conversion taking into consideration the fact that the land was deleted from the prohibited list of properties and pass a reasoned order taking into the rules prevalent at the time of application of the petitioner and intimate the same to him within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions if any shall stand dismissed.
