WHEREAS the Petitioners have presented under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of courts Act 1971 read with Section 17 of Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, above case through his counsel M/s N NAGAVANI PRASUNA praying that this Hon'ble High Court may be pleased to punish the

respondents herein for disobeying to implement the orders of this Honourable Tribunal in O.A.No.8532 of 2013 dated 6.9.2016; -

WHEREAS the said case coming on for hearing on this day and whereas the High Court upon perusing the affidavit filed herein and upon observing that there is no representation for the petitioners, made the following /

ORDER:

"No representation for the petitioners.

On 06.09.2017, the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal disposed of O.A.No.8532 of 2013 in terms of the order passed by the Tribunal in O.A.No.2709 of 2013 with the following direction:

The issue involved in this O.A., is squarely covered by $5.$ the orders passed by this Tribunal in O.A.No.2709/2013 with V.M.A.No.2140/2013 and C.A.No.295/2014, dated 08.06.2016.

Following the ratio in the above O.A., the present O.A, $6$ is disposed of on similar lines with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the applicants for promotion to the post of Inspectors of Police by counting their seniority and service in the category of Civil Sub-Inspectors from the date of their initial appointment as RSIs, as per the orders of the Hon'ble High Court in W.P.No.2120 of 2000 and batch, dated 15.06.2011 and also as per the orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.7372 of 2002 and batch dated 16.03.2010, if not already considered and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

The contempt application was filed in the year 2019 against the non-implementation of the order passed by the Tribunal and C.A.No.35 of 2019 was renumbered as C.C.(AT).No.468 of 2023.

In view of the same, the designated respondents are hereby informed to place the written instructions/compliance report before this Court by the next date of hearing. $\angle$

Registry is directed to communicate this order to the office of the respondents and post this matter along with C.C.(AT).No.509 of 2023 on 28.08.2024." <
