ORDER:

The instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short Cr.P.C.") has been filed by the petitioner/Accused No.l, seeking quashment of the proceedings against him in Crime No. 179 of 2020 of Repalle Town Police Station, Guntur District, registered under Section 498-A of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short 'I.P.C.') and Sections <sup>3</sup> 8& <sup>4</sup> of Dowry Prohibition Act read with Section <sup>4</sup> of Muslim Women Act, 2019.

$2.$ Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State/Respondent No.1 would submit that as per the written instructions received from concerned police station, charge sheet has been filed in this matter and the Court may pass appropriate orders.

  1. Despite the matter is being posted under the caption 'for dismissal', none represented for the petitioner.

$4.$ The docket proceedings dated 06.03.2024 shows. none represented for the petitioner. It appears he has no interest in prosecuting the matter.

  1. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
