ORDER :

• 1. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the certain statements made by the petitioner before the Intelligence Department which are purportedly going against the respondent Nos.5 to 12 and at the behest of 5 to 12 the respondent Nos.3 and 4 are pressurising the petitioner to withdraw the statements.
• 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a retired Assistant Conservator of Forests and now aged about 74 years and also his wife also aged person and the respondents 3 and 4 are troubling the petitioner.
• 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.
• 4. Considering the submissions, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 3 and 4 not to disturb the peace of the petitioner and not to interfere with the petitioner's life and liberty and also not to pressurise the petitioner for withdrawing the statements made before the Intelligence Department.
• 5. With these observation, the writ petition is disposed off. No costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stands closed.
