Writ Petition No.11293 of 2020
ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in trying to dispossess the petitioner from his land and convert the land into house sites for the purpose of allotting house sites to the poor people.
According to the petitioner, he purchased the property under a registered sale deed, dated 24.07.2012 from the original assignee. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation to the 4th respondent seeking to re-assign the land by looking into the eligibility criteria. After conducting the enquiry, the 4th respondent re-assigned the land in favour of the petitioner and mutated the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. Now, for the purpose of providing house sites to the poor people, the revenue authorities are trying to convert the land of the petitioner and dispossess him from the land without issuing any notice and without initiating any acquisition proceedings.
In that view of the matter, this Court directs the respondents not to dispossess the petitioner from the land situated in Sy.No.1092/3 of Palamaner Village in an extent of Ac.2.58 cents, without following due process of law, that is, by issuing notice or by initiating acquisition

proceedings.
With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Pending Interlocutory Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
