The Court made the following:

ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

"….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents to considering the representation dated 25.03.2024 for seeking appointment and without TET Qualification to fill up the vacant aided post in the RCM Schools at Kadapa is as illegal, arbitrary, violation of article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the G.O.Ms.No.67 Dt.26.10.2018 and consequently direct the respondents to consider our representation dated 25.03.2024 and pass…."

Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner reiterated the contentions urged in the Writ Petition, but, however limited his request to direct the respondent authorities to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2023, requesting to fill up the vacant aided post in the RCM Schools at Kadapa, without insisting for TET qualification.

  2. On the other hand, learned Government Pleaders for School Education submits that the respondent authorities will consider the representation made by the petitioner, dated 25.03.2023 and will pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

  3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made by the learned Government Pleaders appearing for respondents, instead of going into the merits of the case, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition by directing respondent No.3-The Regional Joint Director, School Education, Kadapa, Kadapa District to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 25.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

  4. Accordingly, with the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
