Heard Sri J.N. Venkata Suresh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Suresh Kumar Routhu, learned Senior Standing Counsel for C.B.I.C.

When this matter is taken up today, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner so also learned Senior Standing Counsel that the issue in the present Writ Petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court dated 09.12.2022 in W.P.No.38338 of 2022. The copy of the same is enclosed along with Writ Petition as a material paper.

Following the aforesaid order and for the reasons recorded therein, this Writ Petition is also allowed in terms thereof, with a direction to the petitioner to approach the 1st respondent within two weeks and submit an explanation to the show-cause notice enclosing thereto the relevant material relating to the filing of the returns up to

July, 2022 and also make a request to permit the petitioner to submit the returns for the subsequent period, in which case, the 1st respondent shall consider the said explanation and pass an appropriate order in accordance with the governing law and rules within one week from the date of receipt of explanation. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this case, shall stand closed.
