Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declaring the action on the part of the respondents herein, proceeding to issue promotions from Inspector to D.S.P without following procedure as per service rules by ignoring seniority as per their date of appointment from the beginning in view of the Judgment of the Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 8833/2019 and batch dated 19/11/2019, and also without taking any action on representations dated 19.03.2020 of the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary and violative of the Article 14,16,21 and 309 of constitution of India and consequentially direct the Respondents not to proceed further without taking into consideration of the seniority as per the date of appointment by following procedure as per service rules in view Judgment of the Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 8833/2019 and batch dt. 19/11/2019

Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to consider the promotions from Inspector to D.S.P of Police by taken into consideration of the seniority as per the date of appointment by following procedure as per service rules in view of the Judgment of the Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 8833/2019 and batch dated 19/11/2019 based on the representations dated 19-3-2020 of the petitioners pending disposal of WP 8882 of 2020, on the file of the High Court.

"The petitioners have given representation dated 19.03.2020 to the Principal Secretary for Home Department and to the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, to consider their cases in relation to the seniority list and promotions that are being carried out to the post of DSP.
The respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law.
It is made clear that if any promotions are made, the same will be subject to the result of the Writ Petition.
Post on 29.06.2020".
